Wed. Wake-up - Week of Aug 25, 2008

Good morning!

Today we want to explore the many options that are out there for networking. Our Tools for Tuesday column, which referenced the SCORE workshop coming up in Syracuse, is an example of a great place to network with small business owners, local officials, local business leaders, etc. While there are many different types of workshops, these are not the only functions which can provide you these types of opportunities. Joining industrial organizations, volunteering for charity drives, chambers of commerce, etc. are all opportunities to let your business be known. Do not be afraid to explore this possibilities. Networking is the foundation for most great business deals, and if you are serious about fulfilling your small business potential, networking is an essential ingredient for success.

Explore what is locally available. Contact your local chamber of commerce, or even reference town websites to see what is out there. You can even contact us and we will help you out. Just don't let these opportunities pass you by.

That's it for this week! See you next Tuesday!
